Hi Jenni---Thanks for visiting my blog. I am thrilled to find someone from Kingsport.. I grew up in Big Stone Gap,VA and remember going to K'port as a little girl to shop...

One of my best friends lives in K'port now (in Willowbrook near Bays Mtn.). You all have gotten alot more ice and snow this year than we have here near Crossville.

We've been to Sliding Rock.. When I worked with teenagers many moons ago, we went to Junaluska on retreat and checked out Sliding Rock. Neat place!!!!!

What church is that on your header? I remember seeing all of those churches in K'port --on church circle.

I'm going to check out more of your blog. Hope you come back to mine.
Hugs,
Betsy

For Time Outdoors: The stump is located in Kingsport, Tn. On the west side of the city off of Netherland Inn Road. The address is Brunswick St. Kingsport Tn 37660. The picture was made about 4 years ago and don't know if the stump is still there. If you Google the address it is half way down the dead end on the side with the railroad track.
